Research has shown that Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) can have a lifelong impact for indivduals. ACEs change brain development, impair congnitive and social emotional skills and puts indvidauls at higher risk for chronic disease, mental illness and substance abuse. In this training, you will gain an understanding of the key concepts of the ACEs and Resilience curriculum; faciliate community conversations as presenters of the content, and model community change through deep dialogue with cohort and community members.
