Presentation Summary:
Both employment lawyers and human resource professionals agree that documentation of employee issues – from performance and discipline to investigations, policies and procedures – is crucial to minimizing liability and litigation risk. Yet, gaps in documentation, such as vague or inaccurate performance evaluations, confusing policies, and the lack of documentation with respect to investigations abound.
