Rethinking traditions – time to blow up legacy practices?
While it is now universally accepted that HR can be a strategic partner to the business, many HR and total reward functions still measure themselves mainly on compliance and cost to serve or have sought to be strategic without lasting success. Now is the time to rethink traditions and blow up legacy practices that create misalignment between the right work with the right people. This interactive workshop will present areas to proactively engage key stakeholders in this critical self-evaluation.
Learning Objectives:
- Identify legacy practices that do not have a productive impact on the workforce and the organization
- Apply lean principles to reduce resource demands and time required to develop, deliver and use key products, services and processes
- Redefine and rethink delivery of services
Planned engagement activities:
- Web-based audience polling
- Small team discussions to apply session concepts across participant organizations
Prior knowledge required by attendees: Intermediate
